Leading and Governing Independent Schools of the Future
Join us for a one-day workshop with the leaders of Florida independent schools. The workshop will offer strategies for strengthening the partnership, support, and collaboration between Business Officers, Heads, and Board Chairs.
Who should attend?
Business Officer, Head, and Board Chair as a team
In accordance with the standards of the National Registry of CPE sponsors, CPE credits will be granted based on a 50-minute hour. In order to be awarded the full credit hours, you must be present, registering your attendance and departure on the attendance sheets at the registration desk for each session.

- Has your school changed any aspect of its mission in recent years? If so, how?
- What changes, disruptions, challenges in your school’s external environment/operating context are of most concern to your school’s board, head, and/or CFO?
- What are some specific examples of things your board/head/CFO have done to address them?
> Presentation and discussion of tools/frameworks to address strategic challenges facing independent schools
> Case study to illustrate the key leadership/governance challenges, with a focus on mission, strategy, business model, and innovation
> Lunch on own
> Small group/team conversations:
What is important/compelling/
> Action planning and next steps:
Participants will work individually and in groups using action plan template.
> Debrief discussion and closing
Registration: $225 (Members) | $325 (Non-Members)

Hotel Room: $145 (plus applicable taxes)

Workshop refund requests must be made in writing and emailed to Keara Danger at email@example.com. There is a $50 per person processing fee through September 3, 2018, with no refunds after this date.
