Becoming a Values-based Leader
Sometimes "doing the right thing" while also delivering lasting results is difficult for leaders to achieve. Values-based leaders are needed more than ever in today's economic and political environment.  In a dynamic session that draws on Professor Kraemer's global experience as the chairman and CEO of Baxter International and a professor at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, participants will learn the importance of Four Key Principles (self-reflection, balance, true self-confidence, and genuine humility) in the actions and decisions they make as a leader of the organization.

What are the needed skills, attributes, and dispositions of leadership in the brave, new normal of independent schools?  As our industry moves through a pivotal inflection point, a shifting business model, changing modes of delivery, and redefined role of education in the world, how can we best lead our organizations through this change?  Join Ian Symmonds as he shares his thoughts and experiences about leadership in a rapidly changing world.

Hotel Room: $199 (plus resort fee and applicable taxes)
Participants are expected to make their own hotel reservations. Registration fee does not include the price of the guest room. To receive the FCIS group rate at the resort, reservations must be made by this date.



Cancellation & Refunds: All hotel cancellations must be made directly through the hotel and in accordance with hotel policy. Workshop refund requests must be made in writing and emailed to kdanger@fcis.org. There is a $50 per person processing fee through May 3, 2019, with no refunds after this date.
