What You Need To Know
To submit your proposal, click on the link below and complete the form by Friday, March 7, 2025. Upon receipt of your proposal, presenters will receive an automatic email confirmation. If this confirmation is not received, then the form was not successfully submitted. Decisions will be emailed to each person submitting a proposal in May. Please note that space is limited, and only a small number of proposals will be selected.
If selected, presenters are expected to:
-
Obtain financial support from their organization/school for Convention registration, travel, and expenses to attend the Convention.
-
Register and, if interested in attending the luncheon, purchase a ticket.
-
Book hotel reservations, if needed.
-
Make travel arrangements.
-
Provide their own laptops and/or tablets and an HDMI adaptor, if needed. Wifi access and other AV equipment must be requested on the proposal form.
Attendees are not asked to pre-register for individual sessions, so presenters will be notified of the seating capacity but will not know the number of participants. Break out rooms will be set up with ‘theater’ seating to maximize audience. Each break out room will have a screen and LCD projector.
Speakers from FCIS Schools whose presentations are accepted while they are actively employed at an FCIS school will not be able to participate if they are not longer employed by an FCIS school after being accepted.
