Participation in the Convention is an outstanding opportunity for FCIS administrators, faculty, and staff to volunteer to share their expertise and passion for education. Please take advantage of this opportunity to showcase innovative ideas and to network with other FCIS educators. We are looking forward to a program filled with diverse, dynamic, and innovative sessions about teaching and learning.

FCIS and the Convention Steering Committee are seeking innovative and inspiring workshop proposals for the
Administrator Day Sessions on Thursday, November 2, 2023.
Administrators from all levels and all areas of school life are invited to submit proposals for a 55-minute presentation. Deadline for proposals: March 3, 2023.

What You Need To Know
To submit your proposal, click on the link below and complete the form by Friday, March 3, 2023. Upon receipt of your proposal, presenters will receive an automatic email confirmation. If this confirmation is not received, then the form was not successfully submitted. Decisions will be emailed to each person submitting a proposal in May. Please note that space is limited, and only a small number of proposals will be selected.
If selected, presenters are expected to:

Obtain financial support from their school for Convention registration, travel, and expenses to attend the Convention.

Register and, if interested in attending the luncheon, purchase a ticket.

Book hotel reservations, if needed.

Make travel arrangements.

Provide their own laptops and/or tablets and an HDMI adaptor, if needed. Wifi access and other AV equipment must be requested on the proposal form.
Attendees are not asked to pre-register for individual sessions, so presenters will be notified of the seating capacity but will not know the number of participants. Break out rooms will be set up with ‘theater’ seating to maximize audience. Each break out room will have a screen, LCD projector, and cart.

FCIS and the Convention Steering Committee are seeking innovative and inspiring workshop proposals for the
Faculty and Staff Day Sessions on Friday, November 3, 2023.
Participation in the Convention is an outstanding opportunity for faculty and staff to share their expertise and passion for teaching. Sessions for faculty should emphasize the best practices of FCIS teachers who provide engaging experiences for students through reflective, relevant, and personalized learning. Sessions for school staff members should encourage the expansion of skills needed to successfully work in an office environment with various school constituents.
Educators and staff from all levels and all areas of school life are invited to submit proposals for a 50-minute presentation. Deadline for proposals: April 5, 2023.
What You Need To Know
To submit a proposal, click on the link below and complete the form by Wednesday, April 5, 2023. Upon receipt of your proposal, you will receive an automatic email confirmation. If you do not receive confirmation, your form was not successfully submitted. Decisions will be emailed to each person submitting a proposal in June. Cell phone numbers are requested to facilitate communication, if needed, during the summer months.
