ICUBA is a non-profit, self-funded employee health insurance plan created by educators for educators. We are comprised of 25 member institutions with over 14,000 participants enrolled in an ICUBA medical plan. Membership is open to any Florida based, not-for-profit, private educational institution participating in the Florida Council of Independent Schools (FCIS) or Independent Colleges and Universities of Florida (ICUF), with a minimum of 100 employees participating in a medical plan. After approved by ICUBA's Board of Directors, new members join ICUBA with an initial three-year membership term required. ICUBA's mission is to provide high quality, cost-effective Health and Wellbeing benefits to our members through collaboration. We offer a multitude of services including administrative assistance, customer service for your employees, and value based medical, wellbeing, and voluntary benefits - all with low premium increases.
